Mise à disposition des Vingt-quatre Violons du roi
The CMBV offers professional and amateur ensembles the chance to play Vingt-quatre Violons du roi replicas built in 2008 by Antoine Laulhère and Giovanna Chittò da Brescia with artistic guidance from Patrick Cohën-Akenine (currently 6 dessus, 4 hautes-contre, 4 tailles and 4 quintes de violon).
The Vingt-quatre Violons are unique symbols of French heritage and have been played by Les Agrémens, Les Arts Florissants, Capriccio Stravagante, Les Folies Françoises, Le Poème harmonique, La Simphonie du Marais, l’Orchestre des Musiques Anciennes et à Venir and other ensembles.
They have also been loaned to conservatoires in France and abroad (CNSMDP, the Royal College of Music, etc.) for teaching purposes.
