The Centre de musique baroque de Versailles is offering a presentation session – available on four different dates – led by its librarian, to discover and explore online resources on Baroque music, including those of the CMBV. Each session will enable participants to familiarise themselves with existing databases, identify reliable sources, and locate and use essential works for understanding the French Baroque repertoire. They will also cover practical aspects such as the legal use of resources, good citation practices, and current historiographical standards and practices. Aimed primarily at professionals (performers, musicologists, researchers, librarians, etc.), these sessions are also open to enthusiasts and passionate scholars.

Marco Lo Cascio, librarian (CMBV)
Marco Lo Cascio is a music archivist and orchestra librarian. He has focused his career on centres for the conservation of music and performing arts collections.
