Stage sets and stage machinery have been built to bring to life the magic of French baroque theatre with historically informed music and dance, gesture and imagery. Canvases were painted with the help of artist scenographer Antoine Fontaine for performances of Mozart’s Les Petits Riens, Luly’s Cadmus & Hermione, Gréty’s L’Amant jaloux, Gluck’s Don Juan, J.C. Bach’s Amadis de Gaula and Noverre’s Médée et Jason and Renaud and Armide.
