Philidor is the scientific digital resource portal of the CMBV research department. It caters to researchers and students from different fields (musicology, history, literature, the performing arts, etc.), professional musicians and connoisseurs.
The resources take various forms:
- Scientific databases (descriptive catalogues and dictionaries) or early documentary extracts;
- A bibliography database (with keyword search) of academic articles on 17th and 18th century French music published since 1800
- Digital publications (usually in PDF format) comprising document descriptions (complex source indexes & document analyses), scientific articles & journals and music transcriptions.
