Frédérick Haas explores the revival of baroque music, questioning its definition and current interpretation. Rooted in the author's own experience, the book examines the relationship with time, the musician's relationship with his or her instrument and the practice of ancient music, transmitted without instructions. It will help musicians, music lovers and amateurs alike to better understand, listen to and play Baroque music.
