Arnaud Marzorati et les Lunaisiens associent les Pages du CMBV pour la réalisation d’un livre-disque consacré au jeune Molière dont nous célébrerons en 2022 le 400e anniversaire de la naissance.
Arnaud Marzorati’s ensemble Les Lunaisiens and the CMBV choir Les Pages have produced a CD book about the young Molière whose 400th anniversary falls in 2022.
Following a CD book on the fables of La Fontaine, Arnaud Marzorati’s ensemble Les Lunaisiens asked writer Pierre Senges and the CMBV choir Les Pages to create a medley of history, literature and music to celebrate the iconic figure of Molière, whose 400th anniversary falls in 2022.
Listeners are invited to follow the young Jean-Baptiste Poquelin through the streets of Paris on his grandfather’s shoulders and discover the bustling quarter of the Pont-Neuf via eloquent texts, elegant gestures, strains of dances, popular tunes and religious songs. A host of entertaining characters - tradesmen, townsfolk, merchants, doctors, lawyers and lovers form a vivid tableau of Paris life, which was to mark the young boy, feed his imagination and later produce delightful comedies, mirrors of society which give audiences the pleasure of laughing at themselves.
