As part of the national Cultural and Creative Industries research programme, the PEPR ICCARE / France 2030 and the Centre de musique baroque de Versailles invite you to a professional meeting (‘accelerator day’) dedicated to the links between musical scores and technological innovation.
This event will bring together publishers, engravers, musicologists, researchers, musicians, librarians, booksellers, lawyers, developers and educators to explore together the challenges and opportunities of digital practices in the field of music.
Over the course of a day and a half, conferences, round tables and personal testimonials will provide an overview of the issues surrounding the use, creation and distribution of digital scores. The aim of the event is to bring together all the players involved in order to establish an overview of current practices, emerging issues and current projects, while encouraging exchanges and connections between professionals in the sector.
Topics will include music publishing, musicology, music libraries, artistic creation, technology (data management, OCR/OMR, artificial intelligence), application publishers and users.
The pre-programme below gives an overview of the topics covered. The final programme will be available online in the week of 3 February.
