The CMBV has a repository of over 500 mainly baroque costumes (1600-1780) which are loaned out to music ensembles or theatre companies for stage performances.
Some are unique pieces reproduced from period etchings, designed by top theatre or cinema costumiers such as Patrick Cauchetier, Thierry Bosquet and Olivier Bériot.
