With its choir school, Académie courses and vocational training, one of the CMBV’s key missions is to promote the knowledge and practice of early music, and of French baroque music in particular.

The courses offered by the CMBV and its partners cover the fundamentals as well as the latest musicological, historical and artistic research. Academic, musical and student communities can share the passion and expertise of the CMBV and famous figures from the world of French baroque music.

The courses run by the CMBV in France and abroad come in a many forms – there are foundation courses at the choir school or Académie courses in France and abroad; introductory or specialist vocational training sessions; performance practices, teaching methods, etc.
