In 2021 a CD was released of Jéliote, haute-contre de Rameau devised by Reinoud Van Mechelen in association with the CMBV, AMUZ and the Alpha record label which met with critical acclaim from Diapason d'Or, etc. The concert is on now on tour.
Pierre Jéliote is probably the most famous haute-contre in history and was Rameau’s favourite singer! He is celebrated here by one of today’s most remarkable voices, with a selection of music by Rameau, Dauvergne, Colin de Blamont, Mondonville, Rebel, Francœur, Berton and de La Borde. The concerts prolong the tour following the release of the record. A pleasure for the ears, immersing audiences in French opera from the reign of Louis XV.
